Effective date: 30 August 2026. This map adapts the shared Repository Licensing Policy version 1.0.0, pinned at commit 6e4c2627717c079827ed4aa9044a5346b3ea3ddb.
1. Default map
| Scope | Licence |
|---|---|
| Original articles, prose, documentation, publication sources, and non-brand editorial material | CC BY-SA 4.0 |
| Original source code, scripts, tests, examples, reusable schemas, and templates | MIT |
| Names, logos, trade marks, characters, brand assets, and visual identity | No licence granted; all rights reserved |
Anthem recording and other audio under public/audio/ | No licence granted; all rights reserved |
| Third-party material and dependencies | Their original licences and notices |
This map is not a project-wide dual licence. The applicable licence depends on the type and exact location of the material.
2. Specific notices
A file-, subtree-, or material-specific notice takes precedence over the default map within its scope. The licence stated in a particular Zenodo record governs that archived edition. Local overrides cannot weaken third-party obligations.
3. Precedence
- Mandatory third-party terms and notices.
- File-level SPDX identifiers and specific notices.
- Subtree licences and material-specific terms.
- Express project-specific overrides.
- The default map above.
4. Attribution
For CC BY-SA 4.0 material, identify the author or authors and title, link to the canonical page or DOI, indicate changes, and preserve the same licence for the adapted edition. The MIT licence requires preservation of its copyright and permission notice in copies of the code.
5. Branding and audio
Publication of code or an article does not grant permission to use the names IRON CREED or Zhovten Games, logos, the crest, characters, the game world, or the visual identity in a way that implies endorsement, partnership, or official origin. The anthem copy is supplied only for playback as part of the site; no permission is granted to extract, redistribute, remix, or otherwise reuse it.
6. Limitation
This page is an operational licensing map, not legal advice. Jurisdiction-specific questions, employment-related ownership, trade marks, or complex third-party dependencies require professional legal review.
7. Public source and releases
Every production deployment of the site is accompanied by an update to IRONCREED/VOX. VOX contains only the verified allowlisted public projection: application code, required runtime data, the build and test contract, licensing notices, English explanatory documentation, the adopted project Constitution, Profile and Legislation, and the complete public WARDEN surface. The universal Code Constitution and Repository Licensing Policy are included as separate Git submodules pinned respectively to full commits 6bdb3f85236a45254724e7dabee840b2c573f5da and 6e4c2627717c079827ed4aa9044a5346b3ea3ddb. The editorial corpus, operational prompts, attestations, internal reports, and secrets are not published. VOX-PUBLICATION.json ties each snapshot to the exact canonical Sites commit and its gitlinks; that Sites commit, not the derived VOX repository, remains the canonical engineering state.
